Job Description

To drive awareness of our value-added services and payment solutions, we are seeking an In-Store Retail Promoter to promote products like cash vouchers, digital payments, gift cards, and remittance services, while providing training and executing in-store activations. The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge, communication skills, and a passion for fintech and retail innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Engagement and Promotion:

  • Actively engage with customers to promote and explain cash voucher products, cash-out partners, bill payment solutions, digital payment products, gift cards, remittance services, and supplier payment systems.
  • Educate customers about the benefits and functionalities of fintech products, including how to set up and use digital wallets, make digital payments, and participate in stokvel programs.
  • Address customer questions and concerns about products and services.

In-Store Activations and Campaigns:

  • Plan and execute in-store activations to drive awareness and sales of products.
  • Create a welcoming and informative atmosphere for customers during promotional events.
  • Set up and maintain branded displays that highlight product features and benefits.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Conduct training sessions for in-store staff to improve their understanding of VAS, remittance products, digital wallets, and fintech services.
  • Provide ongoing support to store teams to enhance their customer interaction and sales techniques.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

  • Partner with store managers and staff to align promotional efforts with store goals.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to implement campaigns and share feedback.

Market Feedback and Reporting:

  • Collect and report on customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular reports on activation outcomes and customer engagement metrics.

Product Knowledge and Updates:

  • Stay informed about developments in the fintech ecosystem, including trends in digital payments, remittances, and card acquiring.
  • Be a go-to resource for customers and staff regarding fintech solutions.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in retail promotions, fintech, customer service, or related fields

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Understanding of digital payments, supplier payment systems, and fintech ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with VAS, digital wallets, card acquiring, and stokvel operations is highly desirable.
  • Ability to explain technical fintech concepts in simple, relatable terms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in presenting to and engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
